Sharing Lumsden Coe's strong work ethic, Castleton have been a natural choice to help fulfill the signage elements on a number of their porjects.   A recent assignment saw us instructed to help in a one million pound refurbishment contract for the reception area of Astral Towers in Crawley.   Part of our brief was to provide external signage for the prestigious 29m high building.   Working from architects' concept drawings and instructions, we manufactured 2 metre high individual letters from aluminium composite panels.   Each one was carefully sized and engineered to ensure the overall formatting of the text was perfect and ready for fixing into structural glazing bars. Working to stringent health and safety standards Castleton's installation team fitted the letters running vertically from the top of the outside of the tower down to the middle.   Other signage in the scheme included a large totem sign outside the building, double sided free standing car park signs and internal signage including reception signs and floor indicators.
